Understanding Your First Signal

How to interpret and act on SYZYG signals.

Anatomy of a SYZYG Signal

Every signal in SYZYG has the same structure. Understanding it is key to using the platform effectively.

Signal Components

1. Direction

  • LONG - System expects price to rise
  • SHORT - System expects price to fall
  • NEUTRAL - No clear edge detected

2. Conviction Score (0-100)

This is our confidence level:

ScoreMeaningSuggested Action
80-100Very HighFull position size
60-79HighStandard position
40-59ModerateReduced size
20-39LowPaper trade only
0-19NoiseIgnore

3. Confirmation Lights

Three indicators that must align:

  • Technical - Price action supports direction
  • Flow - Options market confirms
  • Sentiment - News/social supports

3 of 3 green = HIGH VOLTAGE - Strongest possible signal

What NOT To Do

Don't trade every signal - Wait for high conviction ❌ Don't ignore regime - A long signal in RISK_OFF is risky ❌ Don't skip risk management - Always use stops ❌ Don't chase - If you missed the entry, wait for next setup

What TO Do

Match regime - Long signals work best in RISK_ON ✅ Check conviction - Aim for 60+ scores ✅ Verify lights - 2 of 3 minimum, 3 of 3 ideal ✅ Size appropriately - Lower conviction = smaller size
